Veurink of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerrit Veurink and Jennie Veurink (Veele); his wife Sally L. Grimm; and his siblings, Jerene Brown, Nellie Bytwerk, Catherine Van Andel and Wallace Veurink.

He is survived by : his children, Gary Veurink (Helena), Sheri Van Duyn (Ralph), Kathy Veurink and Mark Veurink (Lori); his grandchildren, Jennifer De Verney, Scott Vogel (Ashleigh), Jessica Hawley (Andy), Jacqueline Schneider (Tom), Crystal Bishop (Steven), Grant Veurink (Carmen), Natalie Wilgenburg (Lucas), Lee Veurink (Kelli), Sarah Van Duyn, Brian Van Duyn (Michelle), Benjamin Veurink (Diana), Tiffany Bakale and Alyssa Wieland (Nic); his brother-in-law Gordon Grimm (Judy); and his stepchildren, Betty Oetting (Randy), Judy Boven (John), Doug Peterson (Janet Reilly) and Mike Peterson (Amy). He is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren.
