She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lemke and Marie Lemke (Van Doeselaar); her former husband Donald Meindertsma; her children, Laura Bakker, Donn Meindertsma (Robyn), Elisabeth Smeda and Mary Bonnema (Jerry); her grandchildren, Nick (Carissa), Marshall (Maris), Jacob (Sukhi), Connor (Jess), Caleb (Emily), Brooke (Anders), Laketon, Carsyn (Gavin) and Bryn; her stepchildren, Brad Hoekenga (late April), Brenda DeYoung (Craig) and Beth Van Rees (Dave); her stepgrandchildren, Amy (Matt), Emily, Tony (Elena), Phil (Emily), Bryce (Kelsey), Hillary (Alex), Liz (Nick), Anne (Jeremy) and Charles (Betsy); her husband Lloyd Hoekenga; her sister Celeen; her brother-in-law Fred Neumann; her sister Ann Elisabeth; her son-in-law Paul Bakker; her stepson Bryce Hoekenga; and her siblings-in-law, John and Charlotte Proctor.
