He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dyke and Fran Van Dyke; his brother John Van Dyke; and his daughter Kimberly. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Van Dyke; his sons, David Van Dyke (Tara) and Nathan Van Dyke; his grandchildren, Jacob (Rachel), Zach (Abigail), Ryan and Annika; and his great grandchild Florence.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (620 Washington Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Covenant Life Church (101 Columbus Ave, Grand Haven, MI 49417).
