We are sad to announce that, on May 15, 2023, at the age of 77, John Robert Engelsman of Grand Haven, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Engelsman and Effie Engelsman (Drenth); and his brother Ron Engelsman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Meppelink; his children, Lori Ott (Jim) and Larry Engelsman (Brenda Kuyzk); his grandchildren, Tyler Ott, Ashley Passorelli (Nick), Trevor, Karley, Alex Engelsman and Breanna Slagh (Parker); his siblings, Marcia VandenBerg (Phil), Diane DeVries (Phil) and Roger Engelsman (Mary); and his sister-in-law Ina Engelsman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
