He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Whipple; his children, Ashley Erkes (Klint) of Grand Haven, Lisa Whipple of Grand Rapids and Stone Whipple (Kourtney) of Jenison; his grandchildren, Anthony Whipple, Lexington Erkes and John; his brothers, David Whipple (Kim) of Florida, Vincent Whipple of Westland, MI and Mike Whipple (Renee) of Tennessee; and his sister-in-law Patrice Meinel (Denny).
