She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Fochtman (Buitenwert) and A. Paul Fochtman; her husband Larry; her brother Paul Fochtman; and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Fochtman, Linda Brandel, Joyce Witt, Jean Williams, Ken Ely, David Cox, Jerry Fischer and Melvin Witt.

She is survived by: her children, Larry II Fischer (Kristin) of Vicksburg, Melinda Mendels (Christopher) of Grand Haven and Greg Fischer (Pat Muskovin) of Grand Haven; her grandchildren, Lindsay Arboleda (David), Aly Meyer (Ethan), Nicholas Mendels (Morgan), Cody Fischer (Emma), Mycah Fischer (Eli Hartwig) and Alison Staib (Nick); her great grandchildren, Marlowe, Macklin, Merrick Meyer, Mason Fischer and Camila Arboleda; her siblings, Bill Fochtman, Edward Brandel, Madelyn Bauman (Jack), Marian Cox and Bobbi Ely; and her siblings-in-law, Bruce Williams, Anita Fischer and Margarete Fochtman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
