He was predeceased by: his parents, Garth Wheaton and Bernyce Wheaton (Estlack). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean (Vander Veen); his children, Shari Sigsby (Glenn), Patti Rotz (Jeff), Sandi Ryke (John) and Paul Wheaton (Shari); his grandchildren, Rachel Laux (Greg), Emily Sigsby (Luke Balagia), Kiel Rotz (Mary Grace), Shane Ryke (Rachel), Sean Ryke (Krystal), Alicia Bereza (Derek), Charlie Wheaton, Michael Wheaton, Ian, Zoë and Brandon Rotz; and his sister Nicola Kresmery. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
