He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harden and Julia Harden (Buczynski); and his siblings, Virginia Stolarz and David Harden. He is survived by: his wife Therese Fricano; his children, Larry Harden (Diane Wiersma), Leigh Ann Hawver (Dennis) and Dr. Steven Harden (Lanette); his grandchildren, Elise Wilson (Nick), Dr. Kelsi Bevel (Easton), Alec Harden (Gabby), Cole Harden (Alicia), Lauren Harden, Mason Hawver (Rachel) and Morgan Hnatiuk (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Maren, Calvin Wilson, Ira Bevel, Cecilia Harden, Eleanor, Hayden Hnatiuk, Baby Hnatiuk and Baby Hawver.
