She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Peterson and Mabel Peterson (Hutson); her husband Donald K. Madden; her stepfather Roy Johnson; and her brothers, Charles Tyler, Donald Peterson and Rev. Leroy Peterson.
She is survived by: her children, Kay Stanton (Duane) of Greenville, Karl Madden (Ann) of Walker, Paul Madden (Jackie) of Norton Shores, Paula Stilson (John) of Grand Haven and Lori Clark (James) of Grand Haven. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-granddaughters and one step-great-granddaughter.
