She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Scheltema and Mary Scheltema (De Back); her husband Lawrence Kuipers; her daughter Lois; her son-in-law William Geene; and her siblings, Nellie Laman, Shirley Kane, Marian Keway, William and Ernest Scheltema.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Cleveringa (Lawrence), Debra DeYoung (Edward) and Sherry Mingerink (Marvin); her grandchildren, Larry, Bill Cleveringa, Laura DeVries (Scott), Marvin Mingerink (Jennifer), David Mingerink (Elisa) and Brenda Tjapkes (Ben); and her siblings, Phyllis Button, John and Philip Scheltema. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
