She was predeceased by: her parents, Zack Brown and Jean Brown (Denby); her husband Cal; her sister Barbara Mills (Herbert); her brother-in-law Robert Benningfield; and her nephew Daniel Benningfield.
She is survived by: her children, Janice "Jan" Scherf (Andy), Diane Sparling (Doug), Kathleen Archer (Ed) and Dan Steele (Jane); and her siblings, Jan Benningfield and David Brown (Karen Strand). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Life's Missionaries Fund, Covenant Life Church's Bunk Bed Build Fund, or Love in Action of the Tri-Cities.
