She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Schuler and Minnietta Schuler (Tholen); and her siblings-in-law, Dean Froidcoeur, Rich Schoolman, Mary Ann Frerichs (Glenn) and Shirley Short (Bob).

She is survived by: her husband Francis L. Zillins; her children, Mary Gillissie (Greg) of Grand Haven, Andrew Zillins (Linda) of South Haven and Tom Zillins (Patty) of Lansing; her sisters, Jane Froidcoeur of Illinois, Shelby Schoolman of Illinois and Andrea Hendron (Tim) of Illinois; and her sister-in-law Ann Dabrowski. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
