We bid farewell to Mary Kay DeWitt of Grand Haven, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 4, 2025 at the age of 90. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert; her children, Laurel and Ross; her son-in-law Michael Chittenden; and her great grandchild Alexis Mari.
She is survived by: her children, Michael DeWitt of Ferrysburg and Lynette Chittenden of Spring Lake; and her sisters, Nancy Buter (Larry) and Carol Cook (late Loren). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Trinity Health at Home Hospice-Grand Haven or any charity of donor choice.
