We bid farewell to Michael Swanson of Grand Haven, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 66. Michael touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swanson and Joyce Swanson. He is survived by: his sons, Josh Swanson (Kristi) and Mitch Swanson (Alex Amateis); his grandchildren, Jamison, Scottie, Anderson and Berkley; and his siblings, Charlie Swanson (Kathy), Ron Swanson (Cindy), Barb DeVos (Brent) and Patty Swanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kelloggsville Church (610 52nd St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548).
