It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Douglas (Grand Haven, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Kostner and Frances Kostner (Sanda); her husband William V. Douglas; her grandson Brian Harken; and her siblings, Winifred Kostner and Charles Kostner.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary Quartermaine (Lynn) of Sarasota and Carole Harken of Norton Shores; her grandchildren, Kimberly Strom (P. J.), Benjamin Quartermaine (Patricia), Samuel Quartermaine and Jean Reif (Jarod); her great grandchildren, Isabella, Elisabeth, Benjamin Strom, Lily Quartermaine, Ethan, Cameron Quartermaine, William and Benjamin Reif; and her stepgrandsons, Drew and Noah. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
