He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin G. Benson and Elizabeth Benson (Meyers); his wife Barbara Ann Nance; and his brother David Benson. He is survived by: his children, Deidra Harmon (Tony), Daron Benson (Susan) and Devon Benson; and his sister Betty Robertson (Earl). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
