He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred 'Mimi Miller and Wayne Miller; his grandmother Martha Haddad; and his siblings-in-law, Howard and Bessie Keller.

He is survived by : his wife Sue; his daughters, Amanda Wyse (Joel) and Tess Miller (Scott Harding); and his grandchildren, Phoenix Miller and Jasper Wyse.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Global Awareness Through Experience (GATE), a charity founded by his sixth-grade teacher, Sister Stephanie.
