She was predeceased by : her parents, Stephen Sander and Constance Sander (Booth); her husband John Starr; and her parents-in-law, Alvin and Marian Starr (Goodrich).

She is survived by : her children, Joseph Starr and Kaitlyn Stosick (Brett); her granddaughter June Stosick; her stepmother Brenda Sander; her stepsiblings, Stephen Sander, Fawn Dunbar, Terry Foster (Ursula) and Tawny Delacruz; her siblings-in-law, Steve Starr, Julie Sander and Mary-Lynn Dixon (Bill); and her brother James Sander. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“Joey, Katie, Family and Friends, I am so sorry to hear about Connie's passing. She was kind, caring and a whole lot of fun! One of my favorite memories of Connie is the night we kidnapped our kid's preschool teacher, Liddy Johnson, with Tom's knowledge, to celebrate Liddy's 50th birthday. I will forever think of Connie whenever I hear the song, The Locomotion. If you were with us, I'm sure you remember. Connie was in the lead as we sang and danced our way out of the establishment! Hugs!”
