David L. Jonas Obituary
We announce the death of David L. Jonas of Grand Ledge, Michigan, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 79. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Jonas and Esther Jonas (Johnson); and his siblings, Kenneth Jonas and Miriam Kuebler. He is survived by: his wife Susan Jonas; his children, Christian Jonas (Lorenda) and Kelly DeWitt (Richard); his brother Roger Jonas (Susan); his grandchildren, Makenzie Hamilton (Noah), Miles Jonas, Molly Jonas, Joshua DeWitt and Caleb DeWitt; and his great grandchild Gabriel Hamilton.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home & Cremation Services (406 N Bridge St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
