With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Reed of Grand Ledge, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Reed and Betty Marlea Scoville; and his sister Marlea Goldberg. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Reed (Tomanica); his children, James Reed, Michele Ritchie (Dominick) and Jennifer Tatroe (Matt); his grandchildren, Jenna Maurer (Brett), Tyler Tatroe, Chase Ritchie, Trace Tatroe (Samantha), Cybil Ritchie, Mattison Tatroe, Gage Tatroe and Peyton Tatroe; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Allen, Crew Tatroe and Raygen Tatroe.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home - Lansing Chapel (101 W Jolly Rd, Lansing, MI 48910). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
