He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Schwartz and Myrtle Schwartz (Watson); his daughter Jaylyn; and his sister Barbara Sealy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schwartz (Dirstein); his children, Scott Schwartz (Pam), Kelly Ellis (Brad) and John Schwartz (Vicky); his son-in-law Rick; and his grandchildren, Patrick Siegert II (Kimberly), Jordan Siegert (Cassandra Sinadinos), Jarrod Schwartz (Nicole), Kelsey Schwartz, Karen Schwartz and Logan Brackett.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Church (202 S Creyts Rd, Lansing, MI 48917). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
