He was predeceased by: his father J. C. Swix (Judy); his sisters, Renae Straface, Cindy Snody and Nancy Kulp; and his brother-in-law Jeff McKinney.
He is survived by: his mother Ilene Swix (Reed); his sons, Timothy Swix (Rebecca), Jeremy Swix (Nancy) and Joe Swix; his grandchildren, Taylor Swix, Trevor Swix (Mercedes), Jayson Swix, Delaina Green (Tommy) and Breana Malloy; his great grandchild Paisley Swix; his sisters, Gail Thompkins (Marty) and Darcey Heyser; his brother-in-law Mike Straface; his sisters, Margie McKinney and Diane Rabey (Chuck); and his brother-in-law John Snody.
