We announce the death of Karen Laureen Hummel (Grand Ledge, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 60. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Hummel; and her brothers, Kerry and Kevin Hummel. She is survived by: her mother Gloria Hummel; her children, Justin Harr (Torie), Brandon Harr and Jessica Pugh; and her grandchildren, Lillyana, Felicity and Elloise. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mills Funeral Home - Peters & Murray Chapel (301 E Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
