With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucas Joseph Vellanti (Grand Ledge, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 24, 2026 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lucas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lucas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Claudia "Anne" Vellanti; his uncle Nicholas Vellanti (JoAnn); and his aunt Bette Barberio (Fred). He is survived by: his wife Heather Vellanti; his father Joseph Vellanti; his siblings, Matthew Cramer (Sabrina "Bree") and Elizabeth Vellanti; and his cousin Kyle Allen (Jami). He is also survived by nephew and many nieces.
