It is with sadness that the passing of Marvin George Hummel of Grand Ledge, Michigan is shared. Marvin, born on February 8, 1937, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Hummel and Clara Hummel (Lewis); his sons, Kerry and Kevin Hummel; and his sister Mary Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Hummel; his daughter Karen Hummel (James LaCroix); his grandchildren, Justin Harr (Torie), Brandon Harr, Jessica Pugh, Evan Hummel, Tricia and Alexa; his great grandchildren, Lillyana, Felicity and Elloise; and his siblings, James Hummel (MaryAnn) and Bonnie Hanford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mills Funeral Home - Peters & Murray Chapel (301 E Jefferson St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the Oakwood Cemetery (301 Oakwood St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837).
