It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Evelyn Ladd (Grand Ledge, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 60, on October 22, 2025. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Evelyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Evelyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd N. Ladd and Novella A. Ladd (Tribble); and her sister-in-law Susanne Ladd. She is survived by: her brother Mark Ladd; her sibling's children, Mirjam Ladd and Noel Ladd; her goddaughters, Emily Epling (Jake) and Maria Buchholz; and her friend Kathy Buchholz.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home & Cremation Services (406 N Bridge St, Grand Ledge, MI 48837). “Mary, I miss you and our long talks. I was thinking about going to get you some pasteurized apple cider and doughnuts again this year. You are the special friend that is in my heart. It was fun waiting to have Chinese food with you after two years of the pack that we made to each other, that we wouldn't eat any until we went together. You were my strong friend.
