Maxine Jean Simmons Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Jean Simmons of Grand Ledge, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Sweet and Nina Ella Sweet (Van Antwerp); her husband Ted Simmons; her brother Robert Sweet; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Sweet.

She is survived by: her children, Claudia Tamlyn (Greg), Luanna Webb (Robert), Mike Simmons (Sammy) and Penny Diebolt (Tim); her grandchildren, Amanda Jerome (Brendan), Erik Tamlyn (Amy), Thomas Webb, Emily Tamlyn (Thomas Manula), Andrew Geahan, Sean Geahan, Travis Simmons (Vashti) and Trenton Simmons (Caitlyn); and her great grandchildren, Lukas, Koen Jerome, Alexis, Gabriel Tamlyn, Zane Simmons and Miles Manula.
