He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Michele Waters; his parents, Lenore Waters and Robert Waters; his stepchildren, Kimm Waldo (Eric Giles) and Jason Waldo (Taylor Bertelsen); his grandchildren, Emma, Arabel, Jase, Kade and David; his sister Beverly Ahlbeck (Thomas); and his nephew Matthew Ahlbeck (Emily). He was also cherished by many extended family members and dear friends.
