He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Block and Nancy Block; his stepson Charles McNamara; and his sister Kathleen Bechtol. He is survived by: his wife Karen Block; his stepdaughter Christina Hayes; his grandchildren, Noah, Jaclyn, Ella, Layla and Isaac; and his siblings, Amy Hoeksema (Dan), Julie Haan (Val Osowski) and Ken Block (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
