He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Brooks and Logie Brooks (Barish); his parents-in-law, Ralph and Helen Antcliff; and his sister Colleen Shoemaker.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Brooks; his sons, Mark Brooks (LuAnn) and David Brooks (Maureen); his grandchildren, Pamela Harrington (Joe), Jennifer Brooks (Richard Planger), Samantha Brooks, Courtney Sollner (Patrick), Paige Knapp (Kyle), Heather Perez (Alex), Erin Killeen and David Brooks (Marissa); his great grandchildren, Brooks, Zoe, Beckett, Jett and Enzo; his sister Virginia Price (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Inez DeJongh, Karen Nagel, Ralph Antcliff (Bonnie) and Jerry Shoemaker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
