He was predeceased by: his mother Robin Kerley (Curtis); his grandparents, Betty Kerley-Holzgen (Verle) and Bobby Kerley; and his cousin Johnny Kerley. He is survived by: his father David Kerley; his stepmother Kathy; and his siblings, Dan, Naikia McKay (Derrek), Ian (Keely), Gabriel (Alexis), Ashlynn, Josh Abts (Stephanie) and Nichele Abts.
