She is survived by: her son Mark Davis; her son-in-law Charles Cooley; her daughter Deborah Cooley; and her siblings, Larry Otis Simpson, Jacqueline S. Gray and Sarah Evone Simpson. She is also survived by three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
