He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Herrera and Rita Herrera; and his siblings, Elena Herrera, Victor Herrera, Jesus Herrera and Juanita Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Herrera; his children, Abraham Herrera (Christina), Alicia Pena (Valentine), Rita Herrera (Juan Patilla), Patricia Pagan (Eliud), Angie Cadena, Christina Rodriguez (Damaso Jr.) and Amy Herrera; his siblings, Elijio Herrera, Florentino Herrera, Francisca Mansania and Noemi Herrera; and his close friend Jose Mendez. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
