He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Vis and Thelma Vis. He is survived by: his wife Jan Vis; his children, Melissa Raak (Steven) and Alan J. Vis (Lynn); his grandsons, Alan S. Vis, Zachary Raak and Nicholas Raak; his stepgrandchildren, Skye (TJ) and Jazmine; his great grandchildren, Brielle and Alayna; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Calvin and Sawyer; and his friend Sue Wright.
Memorial donations in Al's honor may be made to Disabled American Veterans, The Wounded Warrior Project, or The American Heart Association.
