Allen F. Thayer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen F. Thayer of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Allen's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Allen's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Thayer and Elizabeth Buetler Thayer; and his sister Jane Young (Ken). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thayer; his son Joseph Thayer (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Hailey and Avery Thayer; and his brother Doug Thayer (Michelle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
