With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Kooistra of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Kooistra to pay them a last tribute.
She is survived by: her husband Harry; her grandchildren, Anita, Chris VanBeek, Emily, Isaac, Clay, Austin, McKaylya, Abigail, Joanne, Chad Kienle, Marlene, Mike Sneller and Jessica Kooistra; her siblings, Janny Gelderblom, Lenie and Gerrit Griffioen; her sisters-in-law, Riek Gelderblom and Co Gelderbloom; Johannes (Bev Kooistra), Alice (Rudy Mollema), Dick (Swanne Kooistra) and Jane Kooistra. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dutton United Reformed Church (6950 Hanna Lake Ave SE, Caledonia, MI 49316).
