It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene Mary Smith of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McCarthy and Anne McCarthy; her daughter Karoleen Shangle; and her granddaughters, Emily Holcomb and Emma Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Kayleen Fischer (Brian), Collene Holcomb, Kendell Shangle (Shelly), JaLean Smith, Jo-Lean Smith (Jeff) and Denise Wheeler (Russ); and her caregivers, Tony and Brittany.
