She was predeceased by: her former husband Tom Bockheim; and her father Ernest Weih. She is survived by: her husband Ben Carson; her stepchildren, Caleb, Kaci Carson, Kelly Meyers, Chaim and Payton Carson; her grandchildren, Rayn, Cecily and Camilla; her mother Holly Weih; her brothers, Dan (Sharon Weih) and Mike Weih; and her close friend Cheryl Lord. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
