She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Briggs; her son Areginald Briggs; and her son-in-law Jeff Riddell. She is survived by: her children, Julie Riddell and Steve Briggs (Marie Mead). She is also survived by her five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
