With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Nelson Cain (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Barry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his brother James "Jim" C. Cain; his parents, Samuel G. Cain and Elizabeth "Betty" Cain; and his brother Glenn F. Cain. He is survived by: his sisters, Lynda C. Urbaniak of Temperance, MI and Diane C. Dowell of Woodbridge, VA; and his aunt Doris Cain of Cambridge, OH. He is also survived by five nephews, two nieces, eight grand nephews, four grand nieces.
