She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Welch and Johanna Welch; her husband Robert Gelderblom, Jr.; her daughters, Susan Gelderblom, Jeanne Gelderblom, Joann Gelderblom-Loomis and Karen Gelderblom; her grandson Steven Gelderblom; her brothers, Donald Welch and Larry Welch; and her former husband Milton Earl Bement.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Gelderblom (Debbie) and Janet Czarnopys (Bob); her granddaughter Jolene Loomis (Christopher); her great grandchildren, JJ and Jack; her children, Michael, Jeffery, Chris Ann and Scott Bement; and her niece Cindy Welch. She is also survived by his sister, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
