She is survived by: her father Edward DeGroot; her husband Richard; her daughters, Catherine Buikema (Chad) and Tina Purdom; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Naomi and Jackson; her siblings, Barry DeGroot (Marilyn), Bonny Messer (Bob) and Bryan DeGroot (Sue); and her siblings-in-law, Peter Purdom and Deb Purdom (Kim Fox). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
