He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bill Boersma (Kay), Eleanor Elenbaas (Jack), Bert Boersma (Marge), Henry Boersma (Loeke), Ralph Boersma, Harry Boersma (Helen), Mart Boersma and Grace Harper (Dave); his brother-in-law Len Steensma; his son-in-law Andy McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Rose Stuart and Rachamim Groot; and his parents, Martina Boersma (Scans) and Marcus Boersma.
He is survived by: his wife Cleo Boersma (Ellens); his children, Valerie McDaniel and Jeffrey Boersma (Michelle); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Stuart (Tom), Sarah Groot (Cole), Benjamin McDaniel, Morgan (William Seiler), Marc Boersma (Anna) and Gabrielle Hewitt (Drew); his great grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Jonathan, Andrew Stuart, Ziah, Alitza, Boaz Groot, Macsen, Milo Seiler, Leena, Brooks Boersma and Allen Hewitt; his sisters, Bertha Steensma and Anne Ezinga (Ron); and his sisters-in-law, Barb Boersma and Ann Boersma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to either the Marcus and Martina Boersma scholarship fund at Kuyper College, or to World Renew.
