The passing of Benjamin VanValkenburg of Grand Rapids, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 43. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Benjamin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Benjamin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kayla and Nicole VanValkenburg; his parents, Kathy VanValkenburg and Thomas VanValkenburg; his former wife Mindy VanValkenburg; and his nieces, Alexa Peterson, Aleiah Peterson, Haley Peterson and Hanna Peterson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
