Berta Dykhuis Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 13, 2021, at the age of 100, Berta Dykhuis of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Berta Dykhuis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roger F. Dykhuis; her parents, Lester Kimmel and Lila Kimmel; and her siblings, Raymond Kimmel (Jeanne) and Winona "Toddy" Johnston (G. Richard).

She is survived by: her children, Nancy, Robert Slade, Cindy, Tim Leonard, Dan and Theresa Dykhuis; her grandchildren, Shane, Anne, Brooke, Adam, Sarah, Brian, Randy, Lisa, Steven and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Sienna, William, Vivien, Aurelia and Freddie; and her brother Moe. She is also survived by sister Susan (Jack) Lake, and many nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers and for those who wish, memorial contributions can be given to the Outreach Trust Fund of Second Congregational UCC, Emmanuel Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
