She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sheafer and Willo Sheafer (Cole); and her nephew Jimmy Reed. She is survived by: her husband Robert Alden Brenner; her daughters, Heather Brenner (Louis Alder) and Jennifer Guerrero (Anthony); her grandchildren, Tyler Brenner, Abigail, Alison and Dylan Niezurawski; and her siblings, Donna Reed, Dan (Sue) and Ron Sheafer.
