We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025, Betty Slobe of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John VanderPloeg and Henrietta VanderPloeg; and her siblings, John VanderPloeg, Jean Geenen and Nancy Vanden Heuvel.
She is survived by: her husband Dale; her children, Vicki Keyzer (James), Julie Feenstra (Robert) and Timothy Slobe (Donna); her grandchildren, Erin Bronsink (Brian), Peter Keyzer (Amy), Bettina Kalinowski (Kooba), Joshua Feenstra, Nathan Feenstra (Julie), Andrew Feenstra (Alexa), Jacob Feenstra (Audrey), Samantha Olson (Ryley) and Matthew Slobe; her sister Donna Asma; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia VanderWerff and Sharon VanLoozenoord (Gordon). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
