He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Robert Green and Virginia Green of Grand Rapids. He is survived by: his former wife Margaret; his children, Alexander (Samantha) of Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Kaitlin (Jermie Wong) of Ada, Michigan; his siblings, Marilyn (Drew McCalley) of The Sea Ranch, California and John of Santa Barbara, California; and his grandchildren, Theodore, Rosemary Green, Eloise and Giselle Wong.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grand Rapids Yacht Club (740 Lakeside Dr SE, East Grand Rapids, MI 49506).
He was 70 years old and had lived for many years with diabetes and Parkinson's disease.
