He was predeceased by: his wife Rose (Koprowski); his parents, Leo Didion and Donna Didion; and his siblings, Ron Didion and Sandy Junaud.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Didion (Alanna) of Carol Stream, Mary Danielski (Jim), Chris Didion (Derrick McCullough) and Cheryl Zurek (Stan); his grandchildren, David Didion, Ashley Koss (Aaron), Shannon Didion, Angela Kim (Dan), Josie Zurek, Katie Zurek and Abby Zurek; his brother Doug Didion (Gerda); and his pet Newt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Educational Fund and St. Ann's Home.
