He was predeceased by: his mother Anne Tolis. He is survived by: his father Edward J. Zaagman; his wife Joyleen R. Zaagman; his siblings, Cheryl L. Hall, Linda M. Jacklin (Bill), Karen S. Clapper (Emory), Gary L. Zaagman, Steven E. Zaagman, Lisa J. Houwelling (John), Ronald J. Zaagman (Michelle), Kenneth J. Zaagman (Nicole) and Michael T. Zaagman (Becca); his close friend Laura L. Stahle (family: Charlene E. Stahle, Drew E. Cassidy, Tonya L. Britton, Jeffery J. Cassidy); and his pet Pip. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
